Yesterday, December 21, the 5th annual Mekong Connect event took place in vibrant fashion from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the Dong Thap Workers’ Cultural House in Cao Lanh City (Dong Thap Province). This year’s forum focused on the theme “Integrating Mekong Delta Products and Services into the Global Value Chain,” featuring 800 delegates, including leaders from the four provinces of ABCD (An Giang, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Dong Thap), economic experts from domestic and international organizations, as well as agricultural and startup consultants.

At Mekong Connect 2020, CASS presented its fresh fruit preservation technology (Controlled Atmosphere – CA), which extends the shelf life of fruits by 2-4 times compared to conventional cold storage conditions while maintaining their flavor and quality. This technology is key to enabling many types of fruits worldwide to be sold year-round. CASS is proud to be the first to successfully apply this technology in Vietnam, contributing to enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products in general and Mekong Delta products in particular, within the global value chain.
