On December 21st, the CASS Logistics Center warmly welcomed a group of students from the University of Transport and Communications for a practical learning experience. This visit was part of an ongoing series of programs aimed at fostering connections with educational institutions and offering students real-world exposure to the logistics sector—an essential foundation for the industry’s future development.
The visit was made even more special with the presence of Ms. Quách Thị Lệ Chân, Director of the CASS Logistics Center, who personally introduced and shared insights on:
- CASS Technology: The state-of-the-art Controlled Atmosphere Storage System, designed to preserve agricultural products effectively, extending storage life without the use of chemicals.
- Logistics Applications: Detailed explanations and answers to students’ in-depth questions about operational processes, warehouse management, and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS).
Ms. Chân also shared compelling stories from CASS’s journey of innovation and challenges in agricultural logistics, giving students a realistic view of the industry’s dynamics.
In addition to the insightful discussions, students were given a firsthand tour of CASS’s advanced facilities. They observed the fully automated systems in action, witnessing how robotic technology ensures accurate and safe storage and retrieval of goods. This hands-on experience allowed students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications, inspiring new ideas for innovation in logistics.
CASS is committed to expanding its educational outreach initiatives, enabling students nationwide to access cutting-edge logistics technologies. We look forward to welcoming more student groups in the future, contributing to the development of a high-quality workforce for the logistics industry.
