On the afternoon of March 27, Deputy Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà chaired a meeting with the General Association of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. The meeting was attended by representatives from various ministries and sectors. Deputy Minister Nguyễn Sinh Nhật Tân represented the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the event.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyễn Sinh Nhật Tân provided an overview of Vietnam’s agricultural, forestry, and fishery exports for the first two months of the year.
As Vietnam’s agricultural exports achieve significant milestones, improving product quality and extending shelf life have become crucial factors in maintaining and expanding international markets. CASS (Controlled Atmosphere Storage System) is proud to introduce advanced preservation solutions that enhance the value and competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products worldwide.

Vietnam’s Agricultural Exports Witness Strong Growth
According to the General Department of Customs, Vietnam’s total export turnover of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products reached $8.25 billion in the first two months of 2025, marking a 50.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Among them, the export value of key agricultural products totaled $4.08 billion, rising 26.7%.
Notably, several major commodities recorded impressive growth:
- Rice: Exports reached $974 million, up 49.8%.
- Coffee: Turnover hit $1.2 billion, increasing 58.7%.
- Fruits and Vegetables: Reached $1.03 billion, growing 40.1%.
- Pepper: Recorded $166 million, up 23.1%.
Leading export markets such as China, the U.S., and the EU have shown a high demand for Vietnamese agricultural products. However, to capitalize on this opportunity, businesses must ensure product quality and extend shelf life—especially for products requiring strict preservation, such as fruits and vegetables. This is where CASS technology plays a pivotal role.

Controlled Atmosphere (CA) Technology – The Key to Optimal Agricultural Preservation
CASS applies Controlled Atmosphere (CA) technology, which precisely regulates factors such as temperature, humidity, and gas composition (O₂, CO₂, N₂) in storage facilities. This method extends storage life by 2 to 4 times compared to conventional refrigeration while preserving the original taste and quality of the products.
Outstanding Benefits of CASS’s CA Preservation Technology:
- Reduces spoilage rates to below 5% (compared to 15-30% with traditional cold storage).
- Maintains freshness and nutritional value, meeting export standards for demanding markets such as the EU, U.S., and Japan.
- Optimizes supply chains, providing businesses with greater flexibility in distribution and reducing the pressure of rapid sales.
- Minimizes financial losses due to spoilage, helping exporters maximize profits.
CASS – Supporting Vietnamese Agricultural Products in Conquering Global Markets
Vietnam has a tremendous opportunity to boost its agricultural exports, especially as global demand continues to rise. However, to sustain and expand market share, investing in modern preservation technologies like CASS is essential.
By combining cutting-edge technology with deep expertise in preservation, CASS is committed to delivering optimal solutions that help exporters enhance product quality, minimize post-harvest losses, and increase the global value of Vietnamese agricultural products.
As Vietnam’s agricultural exports continue to thrive, investing in preservation technology like CASS is the “winning move” for businesses looking to seize golden opportunities, strengthen their competitive advantage, and elevate Vietnam’s agricultural products on the world stage.
