Agricultural products are challenging to preserve due to their high water and nutrient content, making them susceptible to insect and bacterial infestation. Post-harvest, these products continue to respire, and current storage technologies are often inadequate to manage this, while processing capabilities are limited. This results in surplus inventory during peak seasons, leading to reduced prices and price pressures.
In response to this urgent issue, we have invested in the CASS warehouse, which is large-scale and equipped with the most advanced CA (Controlled Atmosphere) preservation technology. This state-of-the-art technology allows agricultural products stored in CASS to be preserved for longer periods, thus providing a strategic advantage in price negotiations.
The CASS warehouse offers an effective solution not only for mitigating the issue of price drops during peak harvest seasons but also for balancing the seasonal mismatch between production and consumption. By reducing social asset losses and protecting the environment, CASS plays a crucial role in stabilizing the agricultural market.
